Yes I agree with the decision. I've been there and I ran over him with my car too, there's no other way other than to run and get away. In my opinion, he attacked her and she did what was necessary to protect herself and her children. Totally agree with the judges decision.
He absolutely deserved what he got!! He was the one hanging onto the car and knew what could happen. Driving away was this woman's only choice to save herself and her girls and her intent was not to kill him, just get away. I remember a similar incident when I was 7 years old. My father decided to let go of the car window just in time to save his life. I would have been happy to see that drunk bastard die in the same way this guy did. It was terrifying,
How could any woman be charged with saving her life and her children. Men have too many protections against violence towards woman. We need a truly "Zero" tolerance rule and whatever damages are caused by the aggressor should be considered their own doing, Those kids will be traumatized for life over this incident.
